Educational Objectives of Our Department:

 

To train engineers who

Have a successful career in national/international companies, public and academia in computer engineering and related fields,

Work as a leader (project manager/team leader, etc.) or as a compatible team member in professional life and taking part activities in interdisciplinary studies,

Have successfully completed postgraduate education or vocational education programs in Turkey or abroad with the awareness of continuous innovation and development.

Achievements

Our students who graduate from our department are aimed to achieve the following gains:

  1. Sufficient knowledge on mathematics, science, and computer engineering; ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge in these areas to model and solve complex engineering problems

  1. Ability to identify, define, formulate and solve complex engineering problems; ability to choose and apply appropriate analysis and modeling methods for these purposes

  1. Ability to design a complex system, process, device, software, algorithm, or product under realistic constraints and circumstances to meet certain requirements; ability to apply modern design techniques for this purpose

  1. Ability to choose, develop and use modern techniques and tools necessary for engineering applications; ability to effectively use computing technologies

  1. Ability to design and implement systems or experiments to solve complex engineering problems or investigate research topics in computer engineering; collect and interpret data to evaluate and analyze the results of solutions

  1. Ability to work effectively in intradisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams or individually

  1. Ability to efficiently prepare, evaluate and interpret reports; ability to generate design and production reports

  1. Ability to make presentations, conduct effective verbal and written communication, and give clear directions in Turkish and English

  1. Awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning; ability to access information, follow scientific and technological developments; ability to perpetually renew oneself

  1. Awareness of professional and ethical responsibility, ability to act in accordance with ethical principles
