2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR – OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT APPLICATIONS (ASSOCIATE AND UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES)
Applications will be received online between the dates of 03.06.2024-01.07.2024 under the framework of “The Directive of Gazi University for The Admission of International Students”.

The online application period for the applicants graduated from high schools in TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) will be opened in August, 2024 after the GCE A Level Exam results are announced. Applicants from TRNC should follow further announcements on https://gazi-international.gazi.edu.tr

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO SAVE YOUR CORRECT SCORE AND UPLOAD YOUR EVALUATION DOCUMENT (DIPLOMA/TRANSCRIPT OR EXAM RESULT) ON THE "EXAMINATIONS" SECTION.
APPLICANTS MUST SELECT AND UPLOAD THE DOCUMENT OF ONLY ONE OF THE EXAM RESULTS/DIPLOMAS/HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPTS ON THE "EXAM" SECTION OF THE APPLICATION PAGE. ONLY THE UPLOADED DOCUMENT IS GOING TO BE EVALUATED. THE SELECTION OF THE MAIN EVALUATION DOCUMENT IS UP TO THE DECISION OF THE APPLICANTS
EXAMPLE;
IF APPLICANTS FROM TURKMENISTAN ARE TO BE EVALUATED WITH THEIR GPA OUT OF 5.00 POINTS, THEY MUST UPLOAD THEIR HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCPRIPTS AS AN EXAM RESULT ON THE "EXAM" SECTION OF THE APPLICATION PAGE. IF THEY SELECT THE TR-YÖS EXAM RESULT AND UPLOAD ITS DOCUMENT ON THE "EXAM" SECTION OF THE APPLICATION PAGE, TR-YÖS IS GOING TO BE THE MAIN EVALUATION DOCUMENT.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATIONS
The documents listed below should be uploaded on the website for applications. If the applicant gets entitled to be placed in a programme, the original versions of the documents should be submitted on site.
1. Headshot Photo
A headshot photo (4.5x6 cm - not taken more than 6 months ago) of the applicant. This photo will be on the student id card of the applicant if the applicant gets entitled to be placed in a programme.
2. Scanned Copy of the ID page of the Passport
3. High School Diploma and the Notarized Translation of It (In Turkish or English language)
The original and the notarized translation (in Turkish or English Language) of the high school diploma should be uploaded. The applicants who have not graduated from high school yet can upload a temporary document of graduation. “The Equivalence Document” taken from the Turkish Ministry of Education is not required during the application period. It will be submitted if the applicant gets entitled to be placed in a programme.
4. Official High School Transcript
The transcript should be signed and sealed by the institution from which the applicant graduated.
5. International Test Score (TR-YÖS, IB, etc..)
If the applicant applies with an international test score, the document must be uploaded.
6. Banks Receipt of the Application & Evaluation Fee
Applicants must transfer the application & evaluation fee of 100 dollars to the bank account mentioned below. If the application fee is to be transferred by someone other than the applicants themselves, the full names of the applicants must be written on the explanations part of the bank receipt.

DIPLOMAS/DEGREES AND INTERNATIONAL EXAMS FOR APPLICATION AND EVALUATION
TR-YÖS is the main examination result for the application and evaluation. The countries in which TR-YÖS is organised and held are listed on the application guide of TR-YÖS. The applicants who are graduated from high schools in those countries are obliged to submit TR-YÖS results for application and evaluation. The evaluation of these applications will be based on TR-YÖS results.
The applicants who are graduated from high schools in the countries in which TR-YÖS is not held will submit their applications with the diplomas/degrees listed below.
The applicants who are nomimated to be admitted to the programmes which require a performance/attitude test (such as Sports, Music and Arts) are obliged to take and pass this performance/attitude test for the official admission.
INTERNATIONAL EXAMS, DEGREES/DIPLOMAS FOR THE APPLICATIONS OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS TO THE ASSOCIATE AND UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES OF GAZI UNIVERSITY
Explanation: The criteria specified in this list are the bare minimum application criteria for the relevant program in the evaluation for international student placements. Providing these criteria does not guarantee admission. Admission and rejection decisions are made in accordance with the quotas announced for the relevant program based on the score obtained as a result of the holistic evaluation made together with the other application documents submitted by the candidate.
For the evaluation of the applications to associate and undergraduate programmes, below mentioned examinations and diplomas are accepted:
